Lykke Li's new album Wounded Rhymes has just released, and it's good! It's not what I expected, but I like the heavy emotion. Wounded Rhymes is a less colorful album then her previous Youth Novels. Her album art is the same, portrayed only on a gray scale. Even her music video I Follow Rivers is shot in black and white. I like this somber sound, even though I thought I was ready to bounce into spring with a poppy summer mix. Li is one with words and expression, translating so much emotion is her songs.
I love this emotional album!
