Senator Sanders is fiercely opposed to the deal to continue all of the Bush-era tax cuts, even for the highest-income Americans. He thinks that it is a huge and unnecessary giveaway to the rich. And he has already put Senate leaders on notice that they will have to jump over all the procedural roadblocks available to him. As unfortunate as it is not to extend unemployment benefits, it does not make any sense to extend tax cuts for the rich. I do not worry what will happen to those rich american's that have to pay taxes that are equivalent to there usage, but I do worry about what will happen to the those that will loss there unemployment benefits.
